New energy vehicles are an important means to achieve energy conservation and emission reduction, and also the future development direction of the automotive industry. Under the joint promotion of policy dividends and enterprises, China's new energy market is developing rapidly. It is expected that China's new energy vehicles will usher in a turning point in 2017. It is estimated that the production and sales of new energy vehicles will reach 2 to 3 million in 2020. In addition, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's auto carbon quota policy is expected to be piloted in 2017, and the non-standard car companies will face 3-5 times fine. In order to cope with the policy, new energy vehicles will become the top priority for the future development of car enterprises.
However, the construction speed of automobile charging piles is still far from meeting the needs of high-speed growth of new energy vehicles, reducing consumers' willingness to purchase. The data shows that as of June 2016, there were 81,800 public charging piles in China, an increase of 65% from the end of 2015. There were a total of 55,400 private charging piles, an increase of about 12% from the end of 2015. In order to accelerate the development of new energy vehicles, the construction of charging piles in China will accelerate in the future.
